FOUR POINT ACTION CONTRACT

1. ARSE
2. FECK
3. DRINK
4. GIRLS

What tears my heart most about the Liberal party is that people will vote for them and their racist, sexist, homophobic, godbothering, normal-family worshipping, smallminded greedy stupid venal and narrow policies. Unsuspecting people who really aren't too bad in themselves will vote for them above the line in the QLD senate and direct preferences to Wendy Francis of Family First, who thinks gay parents are child abusers and sees nothing wrong with saying so.

As for the economic policy issue, well, by heavens, this is the team that brought us Barnaby Joyce as financical brains trust spokeschairman. Should any person be seriously contemplating voting for the Liberals on account of how they're going to "STOP THE WASTE" (which sounds terribly constipating to me) well that person had better do the right thing and give back their $950 stimulus. That's all I can say. Actually, I can say a great deal more, but frankly, I have nicer things to do, while I still live in a country that isn't ruled by fascists.

That's a sobering link. I'd love to know the actual statistics on gay vs hetero parenting and child abuse.

Not because I believe any of it, of course. I can't believe there's anyone who still thinks like that. But of course, they're all hiding behind doors & waiting for Tony to open them.

when I saw the first para in my subscription feed I thought it was about Fr. Jack ... and he has more charm than Wendy F and that's for sure.
Ampy Duck: I can tell you the child*abuse stats: Same sex couples: Zero, heteros: Every shocking incident. and don't mention Homebush.

Yes Miz Lucy: what you said in para 2 is accurate and tears my heart too.

I'm bi, I'm not racist, sexist, smallminded etc etc etc. and I'm voting Liberal. I thought Gillard was a wonderful change from Rudd and was very happy when he was toppled but she has been so disappointing. I can't stand the condescension and arrogance of Labor any more. I don't like being treated like an idiot. The Labor machine is utterly cynical and spins everything. Abbot has his failings but he acknowledges some of these, he answers questions rather than waffles about other things like the execrable Swan. I'm starting to think Julia is rather devious in much the same way Rudd was. What happened to the East Timor idea ? The Citizens' Assembly. The promise to provide every student with a computer ? There's no follow through and somehow we all forget. We really are idiots if we let them get away with it.

Hi Cyril,
I'm reading your comment and with the other eye taking in an epic Lib/Nat ad with the main theme being this repulsive nonsense about "illegal immigration" and "stopping the boats". Julie Bishop is describing this as a "problem." Voting Liberal doesn't seem like a good way to make Labor be more humane, decent, accountable. It'd be a classic case of out of the frying pan and into the fire.

I hope you have fun voting Liberal yet not being racist, sexist, smallminded etc etc etc.

The two major parties are too simialr for my liking.
I will be voting Greens again. If you want to do something about homophobic policies, you should too.
