Let's enjoy ourselves, shall we.

I'm 37 and a half! Just thought I should mention that. I've had this blog since I was 32, which is a long time ago now - Sherlock Holes was still living in Banker Street, people used to smoke in cinemas and there was a law that when women got married they had to leave the public service. Anyway, I am growing up and becoming a real adult.
  • I can almost type without looking at the keyboard.
  • I have not once yet lost a whole stack of student record sheets this semester, and what's more, I don't think I'm going to either.

Nothing like the passage of time to remind you of your responsibilities, Lucy and of the need to enjoy yourself along the way. Just growing up without fun would be a boring way to go.

The ridiculous thing about that law was women would have to leave the public service whether they worked in it or not.

I lost a stack of them at the end of last year, so maybe that's something you do in your forties. Happy 37 and a half! Lovely age.
Need more blogging, but. Could you oblige?

I usually lose them then find them again, after the panic, and just in the nick of time.

The other side of that law was that some women used to get married simply in order to have an excuse to leave the public service - whether they worked in it or not.

Touch typing is one of my most cherished skills.

I remember turning 37 and a half and marked it with an evening out as I recall.

Congrats!
Me too...its a pretty good age.
Long way from growing up though. Actually this year has been awesome for me.
Still can't touch type, don't have students but I'm sure I could lose their papers anyway.
