when in Bath Cathedral you would have noticed Australian flag hanging over Governor Phillip memorial (he died there)
plus St.Nicholas Church Bathampton has kangaroos in its leadlight windows for him.
He was born there 1738 but I guess he missed Jane socially. Sailors not her thing really.

Thanks Mel. It's quite definitely cardie weather here. Cardie, umbrella, raincoat and gumboot weather.

I didn't go inside Bath Cathedral (nor Winchester cathedral) - six pounds to go inside and on principle I am not going to pay to go into a church.
