Nothing to do with cats, but have you reserved your copy of Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters yet?

Apparently that zombie version of Pride and Prejudice sold well enough.

No cat withdrawal then.

Ben beat me to it - I have just read today's feature in The Guardian on SaSaSMs, and thought immediately of your horror.

J.D.Salinger (age 90) has just fought off a sequel to Catcher In The Rye (thank God, every God).

Effy will be receiving all your
Baz-love-angst, and I wonder will it be possible to spoil-him-rotten on your return to us.

No cat withdrawals now, although in Bath there was someone in the street outside the B&B calling out for Basil and shaking the kibble box, which was a bit sad.

The zombie P&P has sold unbeleivably well, but as the talk at the conference acknowledged, we're not convinced people are actually reading it.

The S&S book will sink without trace, pardon the pun. Stupid, stupid idea. I know it sounds a bit daft to distinguish it from the zombie one, but there is a logic to the zombie book - female accomplishments return in the form of zombie death mayhem martial arts skills.

P&P&Z is being filmed, along with P&Predators, reportedly some sort of Aliens invading Meryton film, produced by Elton John.

There is also a Jane-as-vampire book in the works, where the Undead Jane hunts down and preys upon all those who have not allowed her to rest in peace.

Well, I just finished reading P&P&Z, and it took me all of two hours, since it's so close to the original you can skim enormous chunks of it.

Whether I buy S&S&SM depends on the cover, which is most of the reason why I bought P&P&Z.

Hmmm, just looked at it: not as good as the original, but could tempt me if it holds up in the flesh (or gloss).
