Is it the shadow cabinet?

You know how real estate agents tell people selling their houses to hide all their stuff before the listing photos are taken? this is why they do that.

Bejeesus.

I once had a housemate that used to completely cover her bed with stuffed toys every day, take (most of) them off at night to sleep, and then replace them the next day. I used to never go into her room -- all those eyes were terribly creepy.

What no stuffed toys in the bathroom. I think they are letting the side down there!

I retain one teddy, his name is Hastings (after the Agatha Christie character) and he has a bow tie. I got him free from coupons mum accumulated from shopping at Coles in Toronto. It was free Hastings or a free crock pot, I adore my mum for getting me Hastings.

I am very fond of Hastings but he most assuredly DOES NOT stare from the foot of my bed.

I have laughed at this three times today and it's only 9:30.

Horrible apartment by the way. The bears do all look creepily new.

Do adults actually live there or should we be calling DOCS?

Ha!

But perhaps the resident is not the owner, but a tenant, irritated by the prospect of moving, they have determined to make the apartment as unappealing as possible.

It was raining on the day the photographer came, so the teddybears decided to not have their picnic but stay indoors and have a pyjama party instead.

I can't help wondering if there is a horrible stain on that wall above the ottomans and the bears are an attempt to cover it up ...

I have a stuffed dog that my son gave me for Mother's Day that I usually keep on my bed. He (my son) gets upset when I forget and leave him on the floor.

It is a perfectly ordinary apartment, and residents are to be commended for defying their estate agent and for keeping what is for them the essentials of their decor. I like paintings, they like stuffed toys. So? To each his own, and stuff estate agents.

I'm with Ariel and the stain. What a great picture. We have a couple of boxes of pink stuffed toys here that could be used in a similar emergency if required.

At least they're not cats.

I'm rather desperately hoping the owner is not a furry.

They're the same people that have the furry stuffed animals three deep across the rear window ledge of their Mazda 323.

Actually this is a flat in a block with a no pets rule. All these animals are real, but have been trained to sit very, very still when strangers are in the room.

Really scarey when one of them blinks.
