Solved

Have you been wondering who the 9 out of 100 people are who think Brendan Nelson would be a good prime minister? I know I have. I try to think of 100 people I know, or know of really, and wonder which nine can possibly be that ******** and *******. It's fun, try it if you want!

Although it does seem probable that new information recently to hand contains the answer to this conundrum.

Three of them are the people in the ten year old Commodore (jeez I wouldn't mind one of them), five are the wheelchair-bound kids in the back of the Tarago*, and

she's the other one.

(bonus baby valuing policy statement here)

*Don't you love how Julie reminds him to mention the Tarago? It's a key demographic, those five starving kids.

At first I thought Julie murmured torana, making some reference to "The Castle".

Do you see that...Tarago over there, with the five starving children and wheelchair in the back?

That's your car. That's your supporters, that is.

Only if they're from Ingleburn or Minto, Fyodor, and they vote in Werriwa. If they're from Camden they vote for Pat Farmer in Macarthur.
Or perhaps there aren't any ramps to get up the stairs at the polling booth? Perhaps the starving kids at the ballots? Who knows?

Yay! Bazlotto! Finally all my years of BazCat gambling has paid off!

I knew it would happen for me one day. Slightly more likely than a Liberal win at the next Federal election.

Those of us in the real world catch a bus, Brendan.

...

Gosh, he was a bit scary in that YouTube video.

It strikes me that whatever the merits of fuel watch, idling/crawling/idling for half a kilometer in your 20 year old Mitsubishi on a Tuesday night is just silly. I understand the 'fuel cycle' (price cycle) is a construct of fuel companies to 'manage' (manipulate) supply and demand. I expect this will continue. Oh, rather than just lock prices for 24 hours, they should be locked upwards, but not downwards.

Yes, it seems stupid, although I've actually never heard of people doing this or noticed queues at local petrol stations. I understand The Bill is not on tuesday nights any more so maybe that's why people have time to kill

Who is this 'Bill' ?

this may amaze you, but my wife Marilyn thinks Brendan is a human being with a heart, and has grave doubts about Kevin. Purely on the evidence of a few occasional snippets of B and K on tv and radio.
