Happy blogiversary!

You sure have changed a lot since the Jane Austen conference, though. Must be something in the water.

Congratulations Laura - but why have you undergone a sex change to be a geeky blonde guy? Now you have to wear a tie.

Yay! How appropriate that I've just tagged you as a "Make my Day" blog:

Drop the keyboard. And the hair. And the glasses. Actually, you were fine as you were.
Happy blogiversary, LT.

That's not me....it's a composite portrait of everyone who's ever commented here.

Initially I assumed the photo was of one of your many happy readers expressing his joy at your continued posting ... but then I recognised my left hand with that extra centre-digit and I knew then about your composite-reader ruse.
Anybody can blogpost for 3 years (and 9 days) but hardly any do it with such style and excellence as you do.
Wishing you many returns of the day, and Congratulations ... and thank you.

Most affectionate thing I've ever written.

Very, very late, but happy blogiversary nonetheless.
