the neighbourhood welcome wagon hasn't been around - not yet - but a really bad mean-looking cat climbed into my car today and pissed on the passenger seat, and on my diary and all my notes for the orientation seminar next Tuesday. It is smaller than Basil, but much meaner-looking.

There was a really amazing sunset this evening, but I only got to look at it for a few seconds before we went back to picking out horrible giant staples in the kitchen floor.

The internet is on in the new house now. We don't have any chairs and there are piles of dirt and rusted nails everywhere, but at least if I remember to bring my laptop tomorrow I will be able to look at Cute Overload whenever it all gets a bit much.

Dorian bashed apart a bench-thing in the kitchen and I painted some ceilings. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go to bed. Tomorrow is going to be interesting.

What a neighbourhood! Welcome poos, sprainting cats, what next? I dread to think... bugger about the notes. You really don't want their first impression of you to be as some mad cat-lady.

Don't forget to put up your flagpole for the Aussie flag in the front yard. You should really have done that first thing.

Now I am worrying about poor Bazcat having to establish his right to the territory from that Tony Soprano cat.

I'm worried about him too. Also worried about this cat getting in and eating his food etc. But he's bigger than it and i'm sure he'll win in the end.

I'll have to make a new set of notes. And get a new diary.

Damn! Have no idea why, but just had a feeling there may be a gangster cat lurking around, maybe because we went through the same thing. Keep Baz safely inside until you work out how to rid yourself of the awful one.
That is unless you have budgetted for obscene amounts of money to pay vets bills when he limps home all beat up.
Good luck.

It was a joke : (

Baz is a lover, not a fighter. Luckily he's got you to protect him.
