a long wait

Never get dodo internet. It is RUBBISH.

I have no internet access at home, most likely for the weekend. It's a pity because I find myself fairly spilling over with things to blog about.

Anyway, I have to go now. Just thought I'd let you know I'M NOT DEAD.

Of course, having just been over at Kate's looking at nerdy cakes, I am now envisaging you as Granny Weatherwax with superior grammar.

Hey, Laura, are you going to the Melbourne blog meet in the City this evening? It was plugged by Barista.

If you can't blog, then come chat with bloggers instead. live. Hope to see you there.

Then again, if you have no internet, you may not get this comment…

Ms Laura, there is a lovely parcel on my desk and this weekend we leave dodo internet. Dodo dial-up internet.

Sheesh, I tried to delete that comment because, really, did it need to be said? (no) but I think there's some beta weirdness going on, endlessly cycling me through a sign up window.

Ms Tartan, I am sorry for your loss and my poor manners. I just got overexcited.

Ours is still working, at the moment. Although the mystery of the fast speed at the supposedly slow speed price has been solved - although we signed up for the slow speed they have charged us for the fast one. While it's been fun, we really can't afford to go on with it. Not that I can get onto them to change it...

I have iinet and they're generally quite good, if that helps, which it probably doesn't. Oh and pls thank Robert Manne for the package.

Also, I was in Perth's premier fabric and yarn store Calico & Ivy (www.calicoandivy.com)and they fell over themselves to compliment the bag I bought from you last year.

I support Kate's endorsement of iinet. I've been using them for a few years now and they've been absolutely no trouble.
