I can hear it when I have the speaker volume turned way up. However, if I turn the volume down to the point where I can't hear it, my teenage children still call out from OTHER rooms asking me to please 'turn that annoying sound off'.
I did hear it. I had to have the sound right up, but I also have to contend with the rather high pitch of my little boy's constant chatter. Also, I have always been well known for hearing things I wasn't supposed to hear.
What I don't get is this. Sure, a kid can hear their phone ringing in a classroom while the teacher can't (which is how it was pitched on the 6 o'clock news). But if they answer the call, wont the teacher catch on to the ingenious plot as soon as they start talking....?
Meanwhile, thats a really friggin annoying sound. It's almost as annoying as the crazy frog.
Actually, I just did a bit of an experiment, and I think I'm so old I can't even do the download properly. Neither of my children could hear anything more than I could hear 'some kind of buzzing?'.

I heard something that sounded like a plane going over, but it turned out to be a plane going over.

That was nasty. I'm obviously still a teenager at heart! A couple of minutes later my ears still feel a bit weird, as if i can still hear it.
The cats didn't react though.
Yeah, it hurt my ears too. I guess it's good to know I've still got 'it'.
My teenagers keep playing it for me. And I still can't hear it.
I guess that makes me offically old.

I am a deaf old biddy.
Can they do the same thing to that godawful "music" the kiddies today listen to?
