internet broken

I shall be away from the internets for a little while. Exactly how long is entirely up to the broadband "provider" known as Dodo. If I owe you an email or something, I'm sorry.

I feel your pain. Although for me it's not my broadband (netspace who have been competent); rather, my hosting. Damn them all to dial-up modem hell.

I hate when that happens.

I had a 24 hour outage with Bigpond last week. I didn't realise how much a part of daily life the Internet is - I actually had some withdrawal symptoms which is kinda sad.

Looking forward to you being back in the (un)real world!

Our sympathies. In March we suffered a nearby lightening strike, that blew up the ADSL modem. And, no, I don't think someone or something was trying to tell us something. We'll far too mature for that sort of claptrap.

Good luck with your resumed service. I'm just entering a battle now with my crummy British ISP (and their flaky web hosting service) who have just helped themselves to their next monthly service bill out of my credit card after admitting it was their fault that I was offline for a fortnight.
