Let's make this a rule, OK?

If you happen to see a person passed out in the street, call an ambulance.

Hear hear. They don't need alarms at bus-stops, they need people with morals.

I had a similar experience with my mum a few years ago in a busy Melbourne shopping centre. Mum collapsed without warning (a mild stroke) as we were walking along. I was left to try and hold/carry her to a seat while also pushing my young son in his pusher. People averted their gaze and just pushed past us, NO-ONE offered any help. We too were clean and well-dressed - and white.
We're sometimes too quick to play the racist card, I believe it's more a sad reflection on our self-centred, "don't want to get involved" society.
