Twilight skies over the southern parts of Australia, in early summer, make you glad to be alive. These are from last night.
Having a digital camera means you can just wave a small metal box at something sublime and evanescent & record it for posterity - there's no sense anymore that you should look hard and try to appreciate it then and there. I like that. It's liberating.

It looked so good through the window last night that I had to grab the bluey and run to the park. Beautiful.
Yeah, it's a tried and true philosophy invented by the Japanese! Nice shots.
oh... the bag! ohhh... the buttons! And it's meant to be YOUR birthday! Thanks!!!! Words cannot express!
Funny, Laura - we took my little boy camping for the first time on the weekend. Although I took my beloved little digicam, I never took it out, too happy just to sit and look at the big trees.
Yeah, digital cameras are great - essentially zero shot cost - just shoot and shoot and throw away what doesn't work.
Great shots! Great blog too - you make me miss Melbourne even more :-)
Thanks Rob. I always miss Melbourne when I'm away from it - but where you are looks pretty interesting...
Beautiful.
