collecting my thoughts

This is being written on my Third Space computer - the one in my office at university. There is one permanently living at home and yet another floating between these and other locations.

My files are spread rather randomly across those three machines. I do not use folders in any planned or measured way. Thus the machines contain mountainous heaps of muckyness.

This is mostly out of pure slackness, but also because this way the brain holds on to more information, longer - the memory trace stays in the head.

At least, that's the theory. But it also means that all those blogs I'd like to link to from here, I will have to laboriously Google up.
